Haasies and alums/students from Stanford, Wharton & Babson took time out from TechCrunch Disrupt to celebrate MBA entrepreneurship at the first every B-School Disrupt. Newly arrived MBA 2019s were by far the largest and most vocal contingent at the event–keep an eye on this crew!
Jessica Herrin, Founder/CEO of Stella & Dot gave an inspiring keynote with some great advice including “every business is profitable in Excel & Powerpoint; raising $$ isn’t creating a business”. She also emceed the pitches & brought the four-school event in exactly on time–amazing.
Thanks to Anna Roumiantseva (HomeSlice) & Leon Rodriguez (NecesitoDoc) for repping Berkeley-Haas Entrepreneurship–they were rockstars! Thanks also to Brett Wilson (Adobe) for being our alum guest judge and cracking everyone up with his self-appointed role as Mr. Wonderful.
Special shoutouts to venue sponsor Galvanize, event sponsor Silicon Valley Bank and our B-School partners from Stanford, Wharton & Babson. See everyone next year!!
